Engineering opportunities

If the answer is ‘YES’ to both these questions then become part of one of the best engineering teams in the country.

We are seeking highly competent and motivated Vehicle Technicians (all trades, Engineers and Mechanics for our nine engineering facilities to meet the challenges of working with superior low floor technologically advanced vehicles.

What we need from you

To join our engineering team you ideally have completed an apprenticeship or relevant NVQ qualification in mechanical, bodywork and electrical engineering and have at least 12 months relevant experience. In addition you will enjoy the challenge of working with colleagues focussed on excellence and contribute to ensuring the highest possible standards are set and maintained in our fleet.

What we can offer you

  • We are offering excellent pay and working conditions
  • Roles include day shifts, rotating early/late shift and nights
  • Salaries range from £18000 to £30000 per annum for a 38 hour week (dependant on shift, skill levels, role and qualifications).

In addition, a wide range of benefits including health cover, and free travel within London are offered to successful candidates.  

Our CELF Centre is a state of the art engineering base for all of Metroline’s major engineering works. Containing the industry’s latest technology and machinery; working and training at this centre is an opportunity no engineer can afford to miss.
