We’re excited to announce a new Partnership with Embassy Village, a GM based charity that helps people break the cycle of homelessness by providing them a home, skills training and wraparound support. Their new purpose built site, opened this spring, is the first of its kind in Greater Manchester, and contains 40 modular homes, a community hub and more.
Our Regional CEO Patrick Sibley and Customer & Community Manager Bethany Whiting attended the launch event on 23rd February and saw the hard work of the Embassy Village team come to life. We’ve committed to part funding a support role for the next 3 years, with additional commitments for volunteering, careers advice and training opportunities for our drivers. We have also committed to support their residents into employment either in full time, permanent roles or short-term work experience opportunities.
