Job summary

Our Vendors provide ground transport to a wide variety of customers many of which will typically be blue chip organisations such as investment banks and law firms. With typical spending exceeding millions of pounds a year on ground transport.

The role requires a great deal of flexibility, the individual will be expected to spend their office time based at our CityFleet office located in West London but travel nationally (primarily London) to meet and support Vendors.

Main Responsibilities

 

 

  • Follow up on initial contact and meet and sign up additional Private Hire Vendors (resources) to partner with CityFleet in the provision of ground transport services – reactive to new and existing client needs to expand existing network;
  • Provide PATS training to the existing Vendor Network;
  • Maintain ongoing good relationships with existing Vendors;
  • Manage all existing Vendors. This will include system integration, vendor records;
  • Monitor and ensure that all Vendors are compliant with CityFleet Service Partner contracts and Service Level Agreements;
  • Collate and keep accurate, up to date records for all Vendors;;
  • Report relevant service partner system (IT) issues to the Operations Manager;
  • Carry out regular Vendor audits;
  • Carry out additional Vendor Management team duties as may be required;
  • Liaise, support and give advice to Vendors in all matters concerning their work with CityFleet;
  • Act as the primary contact between CityFleet and the Vendors and building strong working relationships;
  • Facilitate meetings with Vendors to review activity and quality of service;
  • To seek ways to improve our Vendor network both in terms of number of vendors and quality of supply;
  • To undertake such other suitable tasks as may from time to time be required.

Essential Criteria for application

  • Educated to ‘A’ level standard or equivalent experience;
  • Demonstrable experience in a similar position;
  • Multi ground transport Service Partner management would be advantageous;
  • Proficient in the use of IT systems including Outlook, Word and Excel.

  • Ability to use initiative and identify solutions when a problem or difficult situation arises;
  • Ability to collate and interpret statistical data;
  • Able to build lasting relationships with internal and external stakeholders suppliers;
  • An understanding/appreciation of the service requirements and the management of day to day operational issues.

40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
