To provide general administrative support to the schedules department and to prepare all schedules documentation required for the operation of contracted bus and rail replacement services.

Main Responsibilities

 

 

  • To maintain a full knowledge of the requirements of the schedules department;
  • To examine data provided by the Schedules Compilers and, where necessary, to re-order such data into the correct format to produce Processed Schedules;
  • To use the Processed data to produce Duty Cards and to then adjust the presentation of such Duty Cards so that drivers and other staff may easily understand the instructions contained therein;
  • To use the Processed data to produce iBus Radio Schedules, and to then adjust the presentation of such iBus Radio Schedules so that Controllers and other staff may easily understand the information contained therein;
  • To distribute copies of Final Processed Schedules, Duty Cards and iBus Radio Schedules to all relevant parties;
  • To maintain Electronic Databases as required by the Schedules Manager;
  • To analyse Hyperion running time data for service reliability and tenders;
  • To be able to use the Laminating Machine correctly and safely for the purpose of preparing Duty Cards, iBus Radio Schedules and other items that are required;
  • To maintain the Archive of cancelled schedules
  • To undertake any general office-related duties as required.

Essential Criteria

  • Demonstrable experience in an administrative capacity;
  • An understanding of Hyperion (desirable);
  • An understanding of the Company’s operating area, particularly with regard to Garage and relief points (desirable)

Hours of work

38 hours per week, Monday to Friday
