The Purchasing Administrator will report directly to the Head Buyer or in their absence the Head of Purchasing and Contracts and will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Purchasing function.  This will involve managing and maintaining all aspects of general administration required to facilitate the smooth day to day running of the team.

Main Responsibilities

 

 

  • Receiving and processing Vehicle Off Road (VOR) reports;
  • Processing purchasing requisition requests;
  • Assisting in resolving goods inwards discrepancies;
  • Assisting in the collection of garage fuel and oil readings;
  • Creating & amending part numbers;
  • Amending min/max, location and other stock item details;
  • Filing & archiving;
  • Liaising and organising couriers.

Essential Criteria for application

  • Educated to GCSE standard or equivalent;
  • Intermediate level of Word and Excel;
  • Demonstrable experience in administration and/or a purchasing department.

Hours of work

38 hours per week, Monday to Friday
