To support our operations by meeting the needs of our customers on a variety of challenging and exciting projects ranging in type and value up to £2 million.

Main Responsibilities



  • Project Manage a medium size project, series of smaller projects, or tasks for a larger project;
  • Establish a brief with defined project benefits, scope, goals and deliverables;
  • Liaise with project sponsors/stakeholders;
  • Manage day to day delivery of projects;
  • Manage project budgets;
  • Implement a project controls process and obtain necessary approvals to proceed at each stage;
  • Plan and schedule project activities and timelines;
  • Manage design teams and develop solutions;
  • Contract administration;
  • Upward reporting.

The above duties are not exhaustive.

Essential Criteria

The following are examples of what would be expected, not all are required.

  • Association of project management (APM);
  • Project Management institution (PMI);
  • Chartered management institution (PMI);
  • Diploma/Certificate in project management;
  • Diploma in project and Quality Management;
  • PRINCE2;
  • Current CSCS card and SMSTS Certificate or equivalent;
  • HNC in construction or civil engineering, and a professional certification like RICS and CIOB;

  • Knowledge of various forms of contracts;
  • Experience of medium/large scale projects;
  • General knowledge of current industry developments;

  • Profound Construction knowledge;
  • Excellent I.T Skills;

Hours of work

38 Hours per week, Monday to Friday
