Job summary

To undertake a wide range of duties within the training department, including but not limited to; Basic on road training, CPC classroom training

Main Responsibilities

(Not exhaustive)

 

 

  • Driver Training to PCV Standard;
  • PCV corrective training;
  • CPC module 4 Training to test standard;
  • Vehicle checking and Defect reporting;
  • Type Training;
  • Completion of all progress reports and associated paperwork including C&G;
  • Communicating company policies and procedures;
  • Ensure the Health and Safety of all employees;
  • Design, Compile and deliver CPC courses to JAUPT regulations;
  • Deliver pre-service training;
  • Deliver Vigil training;
  • Deliver New Entrant induction;
  • Invigilate theory, hazard perception, case studies & C&G tests;
  • Order and track trainee uniform, including invoice reconciliation
  • Conduct Mentor training;
  • Various associated administrative duties;
  • When no DT duties are available you will revert to basic on road driver training duties;

 

Essential Criteria

Experienced PCV Driver Trainer & CPC Classroom Trainer with advance knowledge of Microsoft Office & with a minimum of 3 years service within Metroline

Hours of work

38 hours per week, Monday to Friday, (this will involve shift work between 06:00 & 22:00) you may be required to work outside of these hours in line with the needs of the business
