Job summary

It is a field based role, operating across 14 depots in the North West of London, where a company van and fuel card will be provided.

As part of a defined service schedule, the requirement is for the maintenance and remedial work to be undertaken on the Metroline fleet of buses.

Main responsibilities

The air conditioning engineer will work in a team of 5, to repair and replace the required components within the A/C system in order to have it fully functioning

Essential Criteria

  • Must hold FGAS Class 1 qualification.
  • Have a valid UK driving licence.
  • Being able to work at a fast pace, adhering to procedural and legislative requirements.

Competencies & Skills

  • Ability to prioritise own workload to meet requirements;
  • Ability to work within a team;
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing

Hours of work

40 hours per week Monday to Friday, with flexibility required to work over and above these hours and weekends if deemed necessary
