In line with Government advice some changes are being made to the timetables on Routes 84 and 305 from the above date:
Route 84 – A Saturday timetable will operate (that would of applied from 28 March 2020) on Mondays to Fridays and Saturdays.
In order to accommodate any schoolchildren travelling to St Albans Girls School, the 0658 journey on Monday – Friday schooldays will be extended to the school if required. A return journey will leave the school at 1534 only if children have been taken to the school in the morning. This bus will then form the 1544 departure from St Peters Street.
Any schoolchildren wishing to travel to Townsend School should change in St Peters Street to the 0812 Route 305 journey to New Greens. In the afternoon Route 305 departs New Greens at 1540 and pupils can change in St Peters Street to Route 84 if required.
The current Sunday timetable will continue to run on Sundays and Bank Holidays.
Route 305 – The Monday – Friday Schoolday service will operate from this date on Mondays – Fridays and the current Saturday service will continue to run on Saturdays.
Routes 242 & PB1 – These services will continue to operate a Saturday service on Mondays – Saturdays.

CORONAVIRUS - GUIDANCE FOR PASSENGERS USING OUR SERVICES
If you have to travel on our Country Services at the current time, please note the following Government guidance:
The number of people we can carry on each bus is temporarily reduced – please see notice on or by the entrance door of the bus.
Try to keep 2 metres apart from others whenever possible.
Use a window seat when available and sit where there are vacant seats immediately in front of you or behind you.
Remember to wear a face covering at all times as this is now a requirement when using public transport.
Pay using our contactless facility or where applicable by M-ticket. If you have to pay by cash then please tender the exact fare if you know it.
Try to stagger your journey at busy times if you can as you may not always be able to board the first bus.
Wash or sanitise your hands before and after travelling.
Follow advice from our staff when given and be considerate to others.
For our part we currently have enhanced vehicle cleaning in place and where possible we are using Double Deck vehicles on Route 84 journeys whenever possible to create more room to improve social distancing.
Many thanks for your co-operation during these difficult times.
