'Legendary' bus driver named London Customer Service Champion of the Year at the UK Bus Awards
On Wednesday 7th November, Metroline driver Ahmed Serhani won the Transport for London Customer Service Champion of the Year at the UK Bus Awards.
The award is given to an individual or team deemed by TfL to have "consistently delivered spectacular customer service to bus users".

Mr David Brown, Managing Director (Surface Transport), Transport for London opens Metroline's 'CELF'
Transport for London's Managing Director of Surface Transport, David Brown, officially opened Metroline's new Central Engineering and Logistics Facility (CELF) on Tuesday 4th September.
This new and innovative facility is a long-term investment by Metroline to unlock the full potential of Metroline's engineering and logistics staff, and raise Metroline's engineering and logistical capabilities to a new level of excellence as it enters a period of expansion in the provision of top-quality bus services under contract to Transport for London.

Metroline statement re: Cricklewood construction site incident
We received sad news this morning that there had been an incident at the Cricklewood Construction site, which is currently under demolition for redevelopment. The police were called to the site and closed off the demolition works for the forensic team.

New Bus Route for Watford
Metroline, the main bus operator in North and North-West London, is starting a new bus route in Watford from Monday 2nd April 2007.
Route 346 will run over a circular route from Watford Town Centre via Watford Junction, North Watford, the Harebreaks, Leavesden High Road, Ganders Ash, Garston, Meriden Estate, ASDA, St Albans Road and back to the Town Centre.

RIDE ON A ROUTEMASTER AND SUPPORT RED NOSE DAY
Metroline is supporting Red Nose Day on Friday 16th March by running a Routemaster on Route 4. The bus will run in addition to the normal service and will be numbered 4A but will follow most of the normal 4 route.
No fares will be charged but the conductor will be pleased to accept any donations which will be put towards the Comic Relief Fund.
